After an unfortunate forklift accident at work, Wayne was left with major dental injuries, including several teeth being knocked out. He also had failing dental implants in his upper jaw (which were placed about 15-20 years prior), severe periodontal disease and significant bone loss in his upper jaw.
Wayne lived interstate in the ACT, so he knew that if he was going to travel for restorative dental work, he wanted to do it once and do it right. All-on-4 dental implants provided the fast, predictable and effective solution he needed to rebuild his smile.
Wayne had minimal bone in his upper jaw so after an initial clearance/full upper denture, he was referred to a specialist for upper Zygoma implants (a special type of dental implant used when the upper jaw doesn't have enough bone to support traditional implants). He also received standard dental implants in his lower jaw.
Shortly after implant surgery, his temporary bridge was connected to his implants, meaning he could enjoy a fixed and functional set of teeth during his healing period. Six months later, Wayne returned to have his Signature bridges placed in his upper and lower jaw.
